Household Vukovic lives in hamlet Kosanica, village of Glibaci, which is situated at 1,380 meters above the sea level. Family Vukovic is a young one and numerous, consisting of 8 members: father Radenko (41 years old), wife Gordana, children Nikolina, Mirjana, Viktorija and Viktor. Radenko has two brothers, too. All family members live together in same house. Vukovic family chose to live in the countryside, they work hard, enjoy their life and create. They have a large range of certified agricultural products, and they have decided to try their luck and expand their business to tourism, too. All household members are involved in family business.
The family is engaged in husbandry and the production of organic cereals. The farm spreads on the area of 30 ha. Their garden is a small one and used only by the family members, they don’t have enough free time to grow more products, since they have a lot to do with cattle and cereals. They produce all types of dairy products on the farm, the best-known one being Pljevlja’s cheese. Then, they produce buckwheat flour, barley and rye, too. They also make raspberry and blackberry juice and jam, from the fruit picked in the surrounding area, then various dry-meat products, which they dry in traditional way, on an ideal altitude and wind. They family has worked diligently and opened a small dairy plant, built with modern standards, where they produce up to 10 tons of cheese a year. Their cheese is certified – Protected Designation of Origin, together with other members of the Production of Pljevlja Cheese Association. Also, beside this significant certificate, the family produces organic cereals (Monteorganica Certificate). There is an old, stone, traditional house on the farm, whose interior is also designed traditionally. Since they are flour producers, the family makes bread and other flour products using an old, stone furnace, which is still active.
