Meals
There is no menu at our farm, we make traditional homemade dishes, the same one that we prepare for ourselves. The guest should only state if vegetarian or vegan food is needed or if he/she is allergic to some ingredients.

March: Besides the things mentioned above, this is the period for cultivating soil preparing it for planting, early crops planting begins in this month, too.
April: Besides everything else, we begin with fruit trees pruning, whitewashing and fertilizing them.

Tomović family lives in the village called Podbišće and the household is made of spouses Boris and Dragana and their four children. Their several-generation-long tradition is fruit growing, farming, gardening, husbandry, sport fishing, producing healthy food and tourism. The family tradition continues and expands.
Basic activities of Tomović family are fruit growing, farming, husbandry and healthy food production. The family grows some of the products for themselves, some for their guests and some for the local market.
The family has an orchard where they grow various indigenous species: apples, pears, quinces, cherries, sour cherries, plums, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, wild strawberries, currant, nuts, walnut, etc.
Then, there is a garden too where they grow: tomato, peppers, cucumbers, potato, onion, garlic, beetroot, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, chard, spinach, cabbage, collard, parsley, corn, radish, green beans, beans, peas, pumpkin and zucchini.
Several of their products are certified. The family makes its own juices, jams, preserve, salads, cheese, yoghurt, clotted cream and they prepare traditional dishes of the region. If you happen to visit at the right time, you can take part in these activities. The hosts will be very happy if you join them in works.
Tomović farm is situated between two national parks, Biogradska gora and Durmitor, close to the river Tara (UNESCO protected), and between two mountains, Bjelasica and Sinjajevina. Visitor’s center of the National park Biogradska gora is only 2 km away from the household. Several biking and hiking trails, then some mountain homes are placed close to the household. Also, several religious objects are close by, then some monuments from different wars, we have the lakes, too, Biogradsko, Zabojsko and several smaller ones. Sport fishing and fly fishing both thrive at the river Tara. The river abounds in fish (spring trout, grayling, huchen). The monument to the fallen soldiers of the well-known Mojkovac battle is close to the farm. Finally, the remnants of the famous silver mine Brskovo from the 13th century are also located nearby.
