Djurišić family is made of four members and they live in a village called GornjaDobrilovina, municipality of Mojkovac. The household owners – Rade and Vesna, together with their two children have been into tourism for 12 successful years. Rade is there to welcome guests with a glass of homemade brandy, while Vesna prepares homemade food from the farm products and makes sure everything is at its best. They all try to make their guest feel comfortable and as if they are in their own homes.
Besides tourism, Djurišić family is into beekeeping and agriculture, too. They grow plums, pears, apples in their orchard and use them to make juices, jams, homemade brandy. Their fields and greenhouse are reserved for various vegetables and spices, which they use for making fresh, homemade food during the season.
The complex is situated in the Tara canyon, in the very heart of the National Park Durmitor, 200 meters away from the river Tara. It is set close to the famous complex of black pine – CrnaPoda, which is registered in the UNESCO cultural landscape heritage list. Besides accommodation, we offer rafting, camping, jeep safari, fishing, mountaineering and biking. We haven’t equipped our bungalows with TVs or other fun accessories, because we wanted to create an oasis of peace and entice our guests to exploit a wide range of offered activities in nature. Some interesting sites nearby, our guests can visit, are Djurdjevića Tara, Black Lake/ Žabljak and some unspoilt, little lakes, everything in the radius of 20 – 40 km.
The monastery St. Djordje is also nearby, known for the fact that the first Potarje school was opened there. The Tara River is set next to the household and its canyon, with its length of 78 km and depth of 1,300 m, is the deepest one in Montenegro and Europe, and the second deepest in the world, the second only to the Great Canyon, Colorado. The river Tara is also known as the Tear of Europe, for its crystal clear water.
