Senić family lives in the village Bastahe, some 10 km away from Berane. Željko, his three brothers and parents traditionally go to the katun every summer. Željko and Milutin have always got some duties to finish there so you’ll definitely find one of them at the katun throughout the year. They are into agriculture and husbandry, you can always glimpse their goats and pigs in the katun. Milutin is the chef and he prepares traditional dishes using ingredients from their garden. Even the drinks people have in their house are homemade, so you’ll be able to completely enjoy this environment.

Primary activities of Senić family are doing agriculture and husbandry. They have got a garden where they grow vegetables for the family and their guests. They have also got an orchard and they make juices, jams and preserves. If you visit the family at the right period, you can take part in the field activities yourself or in making juices and jams.

Senić household is situated at Senić katun, on Bjelasica, close to the Pešića Lake. The highest peak of Bjelasica, Crnaglava (Black Head), 2,139 MAMSL, is very close to the katun and it offers a magnificent view to the entire Bjelasica region and to the two lakes, Ursulovačko and Pešića lakes. Several kilometers away from Senić household, you’ll come upon a gorge called Udovinjica, and passing through it is an unbelievable experience. A recently opened ski center is just an hour of walk away from the Senić katun.
