Kuveljić family lives in the village Pavino Polje and there are three generations living in the household: grandma Kata, her son Momčilo with his wife Radojka and their two children. Momčilo and Radojka are clerks but they spend the largest part of the year in their family house in the village and travel to Bijelo Polje, where their job is. Even though their family tradition is cattle breeding, they cannot do it in full because of their jobs (except of 10 hens and 1 goat), so they decided to start organic fruit and vegetable production (the latter only for the household needs). They grow the following plants on their farm: hazel, apple, pear, plum, cherry and raspberry. They use all their free time (holidays, weekends) to work in the orchard, and this is very relaxing and health-friendly for them.
Besides their jobs, the basic activity of Kuveljić family is fruit production but they also have their goat, hens and garden where they grow vegetables for themselves and for their guests. Using the fruit from the orchard, they make juices and jams and, if you visit at the right time of year, you can take part in these activities.
Kuveljić household is situated very close to the river Ljuboviđa and mountains Žubera and Lisa. A Visitor Center is only 1 kilometer away from the household. The center of their village hosts an old church and only 10 kilometers away from the household, you’ll find the source of the river Ćehotina and several mountain peaks that overlook the vivid and gentle valley of the river Ljuboviđa. Close to their household, one can find a lot of farms where some traditionally good cheeses are made, Kuveljić family use these themselves and offer them to their guests.
