Meals
Homemade food. There is no menu and everything served to the guests is the product from their garden or orchard. Thus, these hosts give their guests an opportunity to enjoy the traditional dishes, distinctive for the region. It is worth to mention here that servings are not limited and that there are several dishes in the offer with a soup for lunch. Guests who eat special food have to state it in advance and their wishes will be fulfilled (they are allergic, they do not eat meat, some vegetable or similar).
Rural Activities
Since beekeeping is a tradition in this household, guests will have a chance to meet two organic honey producers (a father and a son), to witness the love they put into their long time work, and to learn something through “beekeeping lessons”.
Guest can also take part in gathering of plums and apples, raspberry picking, digging the garden. Milan (your host) will be honored if you decide to take part in brandy production, especially in its tasting, since it has been their brand product for several years.
Also, it could be possible to organize workshops on honey extraction, managed by Milan and his son (depending on the period of the visit).
Activities related to mowing and hay gathering are available to the guests every day. If you happen to visit them in the period when they prepare firewood for the winter, you can help them a lot and experience the way of life lived by the family.

Maja makes excellent salads, jams, juices, and liqueurs and their tasting is inevitable and their purchase is possible.
Kljajić household grows all types of vegetables in their garden, part of it is sold to the locals and part is used by the household. Apples, plums, raspberries are grown in order to make brandy, one of the brands of the house. Milan has been selling brandies made of plums and apples, as well as mead and honey brandy for a long time, besides beekeeping and the production and sale of honey. Your hostess Maja makes different types of jams, salads, juices and liqueurs, mostly for the family and guests, but they can also be purchased. All the food offered to the guests is produced by the hosts, so it is all based on the concept of traditional and homemade-organic nutrition.

A fantastic guesthouse run by a lovely local family. Even though we arrived late and with very little notice, Maja offered us lots of delicious home-made food including bread and cheese, baked vegetables, cakes and honey… The house, built over 100 years ago, has a great atmosphere to it and the bedrooms are simply charming. We really felt like home and we encourage everyone to visit Maja’s family. I cannot recommend it enough.
Amazing natural attraction close to this farmhouse.
